Are you a young adult who wants to learn more about careers in trails, outdoor recreation, history, public lands, or related fields?
Apply for the 2023 Partnership for the National Trails System (PNTS) Trail Apprentice Program (TAP), a career exploration program for emerging professionals and students (aged 18-28) who want to learn how they can use their knowledge and passions to develop a career in trails.
The 2023 TAP will provide opportunities to receive career advice from public lands professionals, network with others in the trails community, explore career paths in trails, and learn about the National Trails System.
Selected Trail Apprentices will
- Receive a scholarship to attend the 2023 National Trails Workshop in Orlando, FL (November 7-9, 2023)
- Participate in virtual trainings and activities during the program period (April 18, 2023 – January 3, 2024)
- Network with a cohort of peers and established trails professionals
