Lynn Briggs is the New York State Chair of Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Association (W3R-NY), previously serving as the Co-Chair for a half year.  Her volunteerism is spread among many local organizations.  She chairs the Yorktown Heritage Preservation Commission and the Yorktown 250 Committee.  She is also a member of the Board of Trustees, Westchester County Historical Society; Board of Directors of the Friends of Miller House / Washington’s Headquarters, Inc., and formerly Co-chair of  This Man’s a Spy!, a Revolutionary Westchester 250 initiative.  In these roles, Lynn and her volunteer teams have delivered scores of events and programs, underpinned by extensive historic research, across Westchester communities to enhance public awareness to the area's rich Revolutionary War history.

Lynn brings to her W3R-NY and other volunteer roles over three decades of domestic and international management experience with three Fortune 200 companies, The Gillette Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Clairol Division and the IBM Corporation.  Her experience includes a variety of leadership positions across multiple disciplines, including brand management, consumer marketing, distribution channels management, national sales, business strategy planning and development, business transformation, business consulting and operational effectiveness. She is known for her problem solving-abilities, dogged thoroughness, outstanding organizational skills, leaving no stone unturned to get to the answer and penchant for unfailing delivery of high quality results.

A native Californian and a resident of Westchester County, Lynn holds Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with honors; she was awarded a lifetime California Community College Instructor credential in marketing and distribution from the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges.
