Authentic History and the Future of Democracy – A Community Conversation

On Sunday, October 15th, the Trent House will host its second annual Community Conversation on Democracy – “Sharing Authentic History – Informing Today, Shaping Tomorrow.”

Participants will enjoy light refreshments while sharing some of their own stories and engaging in round-table discussion about these questions:

• Why is knowing our past important to strengthening our democracy today?
• Why is it important to have authentic stories – your own and others – told and heard?
• How can we make sure that others have the opportunity to tell their stories and have their stories heard?
