In December 1782 the Marquis de la Fayette visited Trenton, at that time the new nation’s capital, where he was awarded an honorary citizenship.
On Sunday, December 29, 2024, the Trent House will present a pre-recorded program by the Practitioners of Musick (John Burkhalter and Donovan Klotzbeacher) with live introduction and commentary by Mr. Burkhalter. The theme of the program is “Music Lafayette Might Have Heard in Trenton, December 1784”.
This free program begins at 2:30 pm in the Trent House Visitor Center.
