Revealing the Route Wade Catts 2-15-2023

Grab your grog and powder your wig – we’re talking about taverns!

Taverns were more than a place to grab a drink in colonial America. They were critical sources of comfort and care for travelers. Including two armies traveling toward a turning point in history…

“Revealing the Route” is a FREE virtual series sponsored by the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail. Join us each month to explore this historic route used by American and French armies during the American Revolution.
Each session features a special speaker or historic site on the trail. So come along! And discover the lesser-known people and places that carried America to independence!
This session features historian and archaeologist Wade Catts discussing battlefield archaeology!
