Spend the day exploring the story and legacy of the Maryland 400 at this special symposium, “Washington’s Immortals,” on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Maryland Veterans Museum at Patriot’s Park. The program features a full lineup of presentations on the American and British forces at the Battle of Brooklyn, the courage and sacrifice of the Maryland 400, the fate of Maryland prisoners of war, and the reorganization and service of the 1st Maryland Regiment through the Revolutionary War. Guests will also enjoy access to the museum’s Call to Arms exhibit, a catered lunch, and a social hour.
Join us for a full-day symposium on the Maryland 400 with program guest speakers from the local academic community. Breakfast treats, lunch, drinks, and snacks provided, free parking, conference fee and museum entrance included, all thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor. There will be time to visit the museum, including the special exhibit on the Maryland 400 in the Revolutionary War gallery.
