The American Friends of Lafayette’s 2023 Annual Meeting

A message from our Friends at the American Friends of Lafayette;

The American Friends of Lafayette will gather in LaGrange, Georgia for their annual meeting.  The city of LaGrange and the Lafayette Alliance there are rolling out the red carpet for the AFL.  This will be a special opportunity to see many performances and lectures regarding Lafayette.  We will also see sites visited by Lafayette during his farewell tour and of course the famous statue of Lafayette (with fountain) in town.

Our hotel is in the center of LaGrange overlooking the statue.   Everything scheduled for this weekend is within walking distance from the hotel or via prearranged transportation for everyone (motor coaches and such included with your registration fee).

Consequently, cars are NOT necessary because shuttles are available between the Airport in Atlanta and our hotel in LaGrange.  Simply arrange to arrive in Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport on June 8th…then fly out on June 11th.  We will help you get to and from.  The shuttle is only $44.  We are striving for AFL members to enjoy a hassle-free experience.  Just show up and we will take care of the rest.

It is our goal for this to be the best AFL meeting EVER…and least expensive.  The hotel rate is very reasonable, and the registration fee will be only $200 (four days of transportation, meals, and Lafayette fun !!!).
