The William Trent House Reopening Reception

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Trent House will host a reception to officially reopen the museum and to announce the community organizations whose contributions are recognized in the 2024 Heritage Tree display.

The historic house has been closed since June as a new heating and air conditioning system is installed. Once that project is complete, the house thoroughly cleaned, and the furnishings back in place, we will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on the south steps.

After the ribbon cutting, we will welcome representatives of several community organizations to light the trees they have decorated with symbols of the ways they have enriched our community through their work.

The reception will begin at 4 pm and is free to attend.
