For the first time in over 20 years, W3R-DE now has a permanent brick and mortar HQ! Located in Colonial Brandywine village near the 18th-century homes visited by Washington, Lafayette, General Greene and Rochambeau’s French Army in 1781. Many local politicians and members of the historical nonprofit community were present, including W3R-DE’s own Bill Conley, acting as Master of Ceremonies, Vice President Peg Tigue, and board members Lorraine Bertuola, Loretta Hill and John McGill. Also in attendance were Senator Darius Brown, State Governor John Carney and Wilmington Council Woman Zanthia Oliver. The U.S. Army ROTC Color Guard from Mt. Pleasant High School were also in attendance presenting the Colors.
