Lauzun’s Legion Campsite 5 (north), French Army Campsite 12 (north) at Garrot’s Tavern

The Regiment Bourbonnois camped here July 14/15, 1782, its twelfth camp since departure from Williamsburg, Virginia,on July 1, 1782. Since there had been insufficient water supply the next three regiments camped south of Garrot’s Tavern at Austin’s Run.
