Washington Rochambeau History by State
Since the beginning of this project in 1995, much scholarly research has been conducted about the Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail in the states through which the allied armies marched between 1780 and 1783.
This research resulted in eleven state-specific and state-focused inventories and site surveys with site-specific details on events that occurred, roads travelled and towns visited by the allied armies within the over-arching story of the Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail.
The research is ongoing; the reports will be periodically updated and information will be added as it becomes available. The state reports are arranged geographically from north to south.
