Janice Selinger

Janice Selinger, a member of the Leadership Council, began in January with W3R-US as a media, outreach and development consultant. Janice had previously served as the Executive Director of Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area in New Jersey and spent most of her career at NJN Public Television. The 14-time Emmy award-winning producer of documentaries and specials will be focusing on public television productions as well as coordinating some exciting events for the Trail.

Crossroads is a nonprofit organization that enhances and promotes New Jersey’s Revolutionary War legacy. It has been designated the private partner working with the New Jersey Historical Commission on the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution in the Garden State.

Janice, whose productions aired nationally on Public Television, worked at NJN Public Television for many years, where she served as the Acting Executive Director of NJN Public Television and Radio, Acting President of the NJN Foundation, Acting Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Executive Director for Programming and Production. Before working at NJN Public Television, she worked at WCBS-TV on the Channel 2 Eye On documentary series and On Your Side with John Stossel. She is a former Second Vice Chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the current Vice Chairman of the NATAS Foundation.

Janice has also been a long-time adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey in the Communication Studies Department. She has also taught at Drexel University and Rutgers University. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Pennsylvania State University and has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Rutgers.
