W3R-DE hosted an exciting lecture series at the New Brandywine Village Welcome Center, focusing on Colonial Delaware’s history and The First State’s role in the American Revolution! On October 6th, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, we concluded the series with our fifth and final lecture, “Lafayette Returns to Delaware,” presented by W3R-DE president Bill Conley. This final lecture in the Colonial Delaware Summer Series discussed the Marquis de Lafayette’s return to Delaware during his 1824-1825 visit to the United States.
