The Trent House has been privileged to partner with several members of local Native American tribes in producing videos about their history, culture, and contemporary life. We encourage you to take a look during November – Native American Heritage Month.

Late October marked another major 2025 milestone on the Trent House Museum site – the installation of lighting on and around the historic house. This project is one of many that the City of Trenton has funded this year on the site. Trent House Association trustees and staff are grateful for the City’s support in preserving and promoting this National Historic Landmark.
The Trent House looks forward to shining brightly in 2o26 as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country.
On Saturday, November 1st, members of the Trent House Association board and their family members spent the beautiful fall morning working at the Trent House. Tasks included photographing archaeological artifacts recently discovered onsite, removing lumber and broken furniture from the attic of the historic house, leveling a large tree stump, and removing piles of broken bricks and other rubble at the back of the grounds. The two large wagons pictured here were completely filled by noon for pickup by the City of Trenton.
On the top left Trustee and Treasurer Ron Zilinski is photographing artifacts and on the bottom left Trustee, current Secretary, and incoming President Christine Sampson-Clark is taking a selfie by one of the wagons. Also on hand were Trustee and President Pete Maruca and Trustee and Vice President James Peeples as well as spouses, children, and grandchildren of Association Trustees and staff.
