About W3R-New York

The Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route – New York, Incorporated, is a charitable organization whose mission is to educate the public about New York State’s importance in the American Revolution.  Our goal is to communicate the journey of General Rochambeau and the French army through New York State along the Washington Rochambeau National Historic Trail through commemorative programs, events and activities. In collaboration with diverse, like-minded organizations, we develop a fuller, more inclusive realization of our shared history of America’s founding ideals, the cause for independence and promote heritage tourism and economic development.

W3R-NY is one of nine state affiliates of the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Association – United States (W3R-US), a partner to the Washington Rochambeau National Historic Trail.
