Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau, also known as General Rochambeau was a French nobleman who played a critical role in the American Revolutionary War.  In 1781, General Rochambeau passed through Southbury on his route to Yorktown, Virginia.  Join us and learn more about this important figure in the American Revolution.

Damien Cregeau has researched and been published in numerous magazines and journals.   He has also given talks throughout the northeast, from Boston, Vermont and New Hampshire to Washington, D.C., as a professional, nationally-recognized scholar since 2007.
