🎉 Success in Passaic, NJ! On 12/31, hundreds gathered downtown for the city’s 7th annual New Year’s Eve Piñata Drop—this year featuring a gold, star-shaped piñata with the Victory Town emblem lowered from 663 Main Ave. and bursting into a confetti shower to welcome 2026.
As a proud New Jersey “Victory Town,” Passaic used the celebration to spotlight its Revolutionary War story—including the city’s role in 1776 and 1781—and to elevate the often-overlooked contributions of patriots of color.
