W3R-DE Participates in Delaware’s 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

09/13/2026

W3R-DE recently participated in Delaware’s annual memorial ceremony honoring the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, as well as the U.S. service members who have lost their lives in the War on Terror in the years since.

The 2026 gathering marked the 25th ceremony held since 9/11. The memorial takes place each year on the grounds of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Claymont, Delaware, where the parish organizes a moving and patriotic tribute in remembrance of those who lost their lives and those who served.

Among those pictured at this year’s ceremony are W3R Trail supporters Tom Grant, Captain of the Claymont Fire Company, and his wife Sandy, alongside W3R-DE President Bill Conley. Their participation reflects the continued connection between W3R-DE, the Trail, and the communities that help preserve and commemorate our nation’s history.
