W3R National Chair Larry Abell Receives Governor’s Citation

From our National Chair, Lawrence Abell:

“I am pleased to advise that I just received the Governors Citation from Maryland Governor Lawrence Hogan for efforts with the Maryland Veterans Museum at Patriot Park.

The Museum is a statewide Museum and serves veterans and community organizations throughout the State of Maryland as well as many National organizations with its programs.

This recognition is in no small part acknowledgement of our highly regarded Revolutionary War Gallery and extensive exhibits of the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route. The Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail and the National Park Service can share in this award as we partner as an Information Center for WARO.

All and all, this is a plus for all of us.”
