Working Steers at Yorktown Heights

05/24/2024

Last weekend, the encampment at Yorktown Heights was visited by reenactor Chris Laurenzo, who is accompanied by a pair of steers, for a presentation on how 18th-century wagoners would have worked. Mr. Laurenzo and his son did a fantastic job explaining what was happening, and what they and their team of oxen were doing.

If you would like to bring Chris Laurenzo with his steers to your event you may contact him at  hickoryhollowsteers@gmail.com.
